My Story
My name is Delaney, but I usually go by Lane for short. A Southerner at heart, I grew up in coastal South Carolina and central Alabama, then got my undergraduate degree in English in Atlanta, GA. I thought that I wanted to be a travel writer until I got to take writing workshops in college and quickly realized my passion lies in helping others revise, shape, and spread their own work. I'm now in graduate school in Boston working toward making that passion a career.

In my free time, I like playing Minecraft, swimming in the ocean, Dungeons and Dragons campaigning with my friends, and, of course, reading. My favorite classic is Nine Stories by J.D. Salinger, but the book I recommend most often is Gideon the Ninth by Tamsyn Muir. I live on the North Shore in Massachusetts with my spouse and our cat.
